Indian women’s soccer team on Thursday endured a narrow 1-2 defeat in the hands of Belarus in the AGMK Stadium.
Meanwhile, India’s Sangita Basfore pulled back deep into additional time. After a fantastic performance against Uzbekistan, India started off using a high speed in the first half, and nearly took the lead in three minutes, when Soumya Guguloth’s shot from beyond the box struck the Belarus cross-bar.
